The Management Team

Paul Raingold Send an email
Graduate from the University of London and FRICS, Paul established GCI in Paris in 1975.
After a successful experience in commercial property in the US (Chicago and New York) and in London from 1964-1970, he came to Paris in 1970 to undertake shopping centre advisory, and was President and Partner of the British Crown Subsidiary, which built up a successful office portfolio between 1972 and 1975.

Sharon Raingold

Sharon joined GCI in 1998 and has since been key to the successful running of the company. Sharon has been involved in major spheres of the company’s activities: from the investor relations, acquisition, letting, development and sales of over 16 investments in greater Paris and Lyon, totaling 400 000sqm.
After graduating from King’s College and the University of London, she worked as an account executive at Nike New York and as a consultant for Publicis, the French advertising house.

Alexander Raingold

After 12 years in Equity Capital Markets as a Director in equity investments at Dresdner Kleinwort, HSBC and Credit Agricole Cheuvreux, Alexander joined GCI in November 2012 as a Director of the company. Alexander graduated from the MBAI Paris Groupe Ipesup/Inseec holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Finance and was awarded with a Masters in Real Estate Management at ESSEC in 2014.
Alexander works on the development of GCI, focusing on distressed deals, managing relationships with brokers and is responsible for OPCI and tax issues.
Alexander is currently working on the asset management of the PFF portfolio (Berkeley building in la Defense, Yves Rocher building in Issy les Moulineaux…).

Raphaël Raingold

Raphael joined GCI in 2009 and is responsible for new acquisitions and disposals. In 1999, he successfully launched a leading Internet company, backed by LVMH. Following the sale of the company, Raphael started a venture focusing on providing wireless Internet service to the real estate world. Following this experience, he worked for the Investment banking division of Merrill Lynch in London, focusing on M&A. He then left to work in venture capital, for GP Bullhound, providing finance and private placements for technology companies. Since 2009, Raphael was instrumental in the acquisition of Eden Monceau, Tour Hachette and in the sale of Balthazar and Olympique. He is also responsible for managing discussions and relationships with debt providers. Raphael is a graduate from McGill University, Montreal, where he obtained a Bachelor in Commerce.

Rina Benhamou

Rina has been working for GCI since 2003 and is specialised in strategic asset management as well as consultancy and analysis of new investment opportunities. Rina heads up the asset management for GCI taking the deals from acquisition to completion and letting and then on to the sale. Rina began her career in the Real Estate Management Team of Groupe GAN, before moving to Archon, a branch of Goldman Sachs, where she worked as a financial analyst and asset manager. Rina graduated from the ESC business school in Rouen with a degree in business finance and went on to obtain an MBA from Baruch College, New York. She perfected her high-class valuation skills at the ICH Business School in Paris.
Stéphanie Pappas

Stephanie joined GCI in 2008. She assists the team on acquisitions, development projects and plays an active role in asset management and on the development aspect of the deals. In particular she has been involved in the asset management of Berkeley/ Ava, Issy tower project, Eden Monceau amongst others. Stephanie has an engineering degree from the ESTP School of Engineering in Paris. She studied architecture and town planning in France and Japan, before going on to obtain an MBA from the ESSEC Business School in Paris where she specialised in real estate and finance and was a member of the Real Estate Chair.
Michael Zalma

Michael joined GCI in 2018 as an Investment Manager. He assists the team on acquisitions, development projects and asset management.
Prior to joining GCI, Michael gained experience as an asset manager and investment analyst. He started his career at Shaftesbury Asset Management managing office buildings in Paris and Lyon, then he joined Hudson Advisors in London, the underwriting department of Lone Star Funds, where he was an investment analyst for Continental Europe. In 2015, Michael joined Savills Investment Management in Paris as an Investment Manager.
Michael graduated from ESTP, a civil engineering school and from Dauphine University in Paris.
Eric Ung

Eric joined GCI in 2018 as an Investment Manager. He assists the team on acquisitions, development projects and asset management.
Prior to joining GCI, Eric started his career at Ingerop Conseil & Ingénierie as an engineer specialising in infrastructure design. In 2015, Eric joined La Française Real Estate Partners in a dedicated team specialising in real estate investment for institutional investors.
Eric graduated from EIVP, a civil engineering school and from ESSEC Business School in Paris where he specialised in real estate and finance.
Lise Bachmeyer

Following a first internship in a law firm and another in Ayming (ex Alma Consulting Group) as a legal practitioner, Lise joined GCI in 2015 and has been working on letting and investment market analyses. She is also involved in the investment projects.
Lise graduated from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University where she obtained law degrees in French Business law and in English and North-American Business law
Almudena Garcia

Almudena joined GCI in 2019 as an Investment Analyst. She assists the team on acquisitions, development projects and asset management. Prior to joining GCI, Almudena started her career at BBVA Bank as Finance Banking & CF Intern. Then she joined Alavora as Investment Analyst. Following this experience, she worked as Business Development and export Manager until 2019 when she obtained the Real Estate Economics and Finance certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Almudena has an International Business Degree from the University of Hertfordshire.
Melissa Ladjouan

Après avoir travaillé 10 ans en tant qu'office Manager chez Rockspring et 1 an en tant qu'Associate Asset Manager chez Patrizia, Mélissa a rejoint GCI en Juin 2019 en tant que Senior Office Manager doublé d'un poste d'Asset Manager.
En tant qu'Office Manager chez GCI, son rôle est primordial à la performance de l'entreprise. Elle est impliquée dans plusieurs sujets incontournables de la société tels que la gestion Administrative et Financière de la société, la comptabilité en France et à l'étranger, les services généraux, la gestion des baux d'habitation, et les relations avec les partenaires financiers.
Mélissa est diplômé de l'ICH - mention gestion immobilière.
